A replica pellet pistol was recovered after police arrested six individuals in a bizarre situation that unfolded on Thursday.
Stratford police responded to a report that a man was holding two females at gunpoint in a Stratford hotel Thursday afternoon.
Upon arrival, police safely arrested six people, four of whom were deemed young offenders and released on promise-to-appears and conditions for robbery, weapons offences, and possession of cannabis marijuana. The other two were held for bail hearings.
Police have stated that no further information will be released as the occurrence is still under investigation.
