Toronto police are looking to identify a man accused in an online-dating fraud scheme.
A 52-year-old woman had reportedly met a man using the name Domenic Gurino on an online dating site in November.
A month into the relationship, the man advised the woman of a property investment with profitable returns.
Police say after the woman provided a large sum of money to the man for the investment, he allegedly evaded all contact from her.
Toronto police have released the man’s photograph in hopes someone can identify him.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-4300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
