Police searching for tuxedo-clad suspect after paint poured in downtown Toronto office

UPDATE: Toronto police have charged a suspect in connection with this incident

Police are asking the public for help identifying a tuxedo-wearing suspect allegedly caught on camera breaking into a downtown Toronto building and causing thousands of dollars in damages after pouring paint in an office.

Toronto police said an unidentified man walked into a Financial District office tower in the King Street West and York Street area around 11 p.m. Friday.

The suspect was then seen on camera walking to the second floor, where police said he broke into an office by forcing a door open.

Several windows were smashed, bottles broken and a can of paint was opened and poured throughout the office, causing thousands of dollars to furniture and other property inside.

The suspect is described by police as 5’10”, aged 19 to 25, with a medium build and short red hair. He was last seen wearing a dark tuxedo suit, white shirt and dark bow tie and is wanted on a charge of mischief over $5,000.
