A 16-year-old boy who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant was arrested Sunday night after police extracted him from a vehicle.

On Dec. 4 at around 9:55 p.m., police were called to the 700 block of Hayworth Crescent in Regina for a 16-year-old boy wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

According to police, a vehicle pulled away from the location when officers arrived. However, the vehicle’s tires were spinning and it was having trouble gaining traction on ice so officers chased the vehicle on foot.
