FREDERICTON – Police say the woman whose body was found in a ditch outside Fredericton earlier this week was about seven-months pregnant.
Oromocto RCMP say 26-year-old Alicia Dawn Boone, originally from Nackawic, was found dead along the Killarney Road at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
She had been living in Fredericton recently.
Cpl. Chantal Farrah said the cause of Boone’s death is not yet known and an autopsy is being conducted in Saint John.
New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating the death, which is still considered to be suspicious.
Police ask anyone with information to contact RCMP at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and online at www.crimenb.ca.
