Police in Saint John are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a frightening armed bank robbery Wednesday afternoon.
Photos taken by a bank surveillance camera show the suspect pointing a gun at staff and bank customers at the Scotiabank on Westmorland Road.
Police describe the suspect as being about five feet, seven inches tall and about 40-50 years old.
Witnesses say the person of interest has a “weathered and unshaven” face.
