The big storm that didn’t really materialize at lower elevations over the weekend was good news for Whistler Blackcomb.
The mountain received 60 centimetres of snow this weekend, creating whiteout conditions at the top of Whistler and Blackcomb peaks.
The ski resort expects another 10 centimetres of snow today and four more tonight as wet flurries continue.
More snow could also fall over the coming days.
The mountain resort is set to open Nov. 24. Last year, due to record snow, it opened early on Nov. 19.
