As the manhunt ended for a suspect wanted for shooting an RCMP officer in Golden, B.C., new details have emerged about one of his alleged shooting victims in Saskatchewan.
Sheldon Kyle Thunderblanket, 40, was wanted in Saskatchewan after Tami Frank was found dead and another person was found injured just after midnight Monday.
Thunderblanket was also wanted in connection with a shooting along Highway 1 near Golden B.C. on Tuesday. A female RCMP officer was shot in the arm and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Mounties said Thunderblanket was located near Revelstoke, B.C. on Wednesday. Later that afternoon, police confirmed he was deceased.

A family member has confirmed Tami was murdered at her home on the Little Pine First Nation reserve Monday night.
Little Pine First Nation Chief Wayne Semaganis said he knew both Tami and Thunderblanket well.
“I know him, yeah, they had been in relationship,” Semanganis said during an interview with Global News.
“I don’t know if they were in a relationship at the time.”
Police say the other victim was taken to hospital in Saskatoon.
Semanganis said at this time he is just trying to help the families cope.
Thunderblanket has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault, mischief and breach of undertakings in the Saskatchewan shootings.
