A fire broke out at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Pointe-Claire.
The blaze took place at 76 Queen Avenue and caused approximately $75,000 in damages, according to Sylvain Legros, operations chief at the Montreal fire department.
It took around 30 firefighters to put out the fire shortly after it started in a nearby shed and spread to the home.
