Man in critical condition after being injured by electric shock in Mississauga

A man has been taken to hospital in critical condition after receiving an electric shock in Mississauga.

According to police and paramedics, emergency crews were called to the Mississauga Road and Port Street West area before 4 p.m. Saturday after the man was injured while working on hydro lines.

Paramedics resuscitated the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, and rushed him to hospital.

A second person was also treated by paramedics, but a spokesperson said the victim suffered minor injuries.
