Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in downtown Toronto.
Toronto police and paramedics were called to the George Street and Gerrard Street East area around 5:50 p.m. Monday after a pedestrian was struck by a van.
A police spokesperson said the navy-coloured van left the scene, but officers found it a short distance away.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene, according to Toronto Paramedics.
Officials haven’t released information about the pedestrian.
Police are looking for a male suspect.
