Capellan replaces right-handed pitcher Kyle Lotzkar who has announced his retirement. The 27-year-old Canadian was 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA in 18 relief appearances this season. His last stint on the mound came in Thursday’s 9-7 loss to the Wichita Wingnuts. Lotzkar gave up two runs off one hit in 1.1 innings of work.
