WINNIPEG — Just before 6 p.m. fire crews rushed to what looked like a shed on fire in western part of Winnipeg.
Global’s Skyview-1 helicopter was overhead and saw thick black smoke coming from a backyard on Carriage Road.

Crews were moving in to battle the fire but it appears the flames won’t spread too far.
A hydro pole near the shed could be seen smoking, it is unknown if that will affect power in the area.
