Saskatoon police say a 24-year-old woman was struck with baseball bat following a break-in involving two men at around 9 a.m. CT on Saturday.
Investigators do not believe this incident was random in nature.
Officers were called by a neighbor who reported seeing two men, one carrying a baseball bat, enter a nearby home in the 500-block of Avenue H South.

As police arrived, two men were seen running from the home.
They were chased down and arrested a couple blocks away.
Police say one of the men failed to obey with their commands during his arrest and suffered non-life threatening injuries consistent with police dog bites. He has been released from hospital and is in custody.

The woman who was injured at the home was treated by MD Ambulance paramedics at the scene.
The two Saskatoon men, ages 34 and 19, are facing a charge of break and enter. One was also found to be in possession of small amount of methamphetamine.
Both are expected to be brought before a justice of the peace on Sunday evening.
