Adams was let go on May 28 after suffering an injury during rookie camp. He stuck around Winnipeg after being released to rehab with the Bombers. The CFL club says Adams will likely play in Wednesday’s pre-season game against the Montreal Alouettes.

Adams bounced around several NFL practice rosters before signing with the Indianapolis Colts in June 2012. He caught two passes for 26 yards in three games with the Colts. Adams later spent time with the New York Giants.
