SIX NATIONS INDIAN RESERVE, Ont. — Police say three men face first-degree murder charges after a shooting at the Six Nations Reserve near Brantford, in southern Ontario.
Six Nations police said officers found a teenage boy and two men with gunshot wounds, along with an SUV with damage from gunfire, on Wednesday afternoon.
The teen, identified as 16-year-old Ashton VanEvery, was transported to Hamilton General Hospital where he later died.

One of the men remains in serious-but-stable condition while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police had said they believed the shooting was the result of an attempt at retaliation for an alleged assault that had occurred overnight.
Investigators say they identified three suspects and after discussions with family, they surrendered and face charges of first-degree murder.
Police say Dwight Ronald Walton, 19, Kenneth Paul Appleton, 24, and Irvin Allan Maracle, 56, are in police custody pending a bail hearing.
