PENTICTON – The body of a missing Peachland man has been recovered from Trout Creek west of Summerland
David Shackleton, 33, was thrown into the fast-flowing creek and swept away on April 16th when the ATV he was riding flipped on a bridge.
The police search was called off after two days but his family continued looking for him.
Penticton RCMP say Shackleton’s body was found by his father Sunday and the recovery was made by Penticton Search and Rescue volunteers.
The BC Coroners Service is investigating.
