EDMONTON – Six people were arrested after police found guns, drugs and stolen property during the search of a home near Grande Prairie.

The search and seizure was conducted by ALERT and RCMP at a home outside of Fairview, Alta.

An estimated $50,000 worth of stolen property was seized, including a trailer, ATV and two vehicles.

Small amounts of crack cocaine and fentanyl were seized, but police believe most of the drugs inside the home were destroyed as police were conducting the search warrant.

The search also resulted in the seizure of nine firearms, improvised explosives and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

Among the six people arrested was Robert Cletus Traverse, who has connections to gangs in the B.C. Lower Mainland, ALERT said.
