Looking to do their part to help those affected by the devastating Fort McMurray wildfire, Nova Scotia artists Classified and David Myles are using their art to reach the hurting families.

The video for Classified’s new single Work Away, featuring David Myles, was released on Thursday.

All proceeds from the sale of the single are being donated to the Canadian Red Cross to help relief efforts in northern Alberta.

The video features families from across Canada that are often missing a member for long periods of time because mom or dad works away from home — whether that be in an Alberta oilsands camp, or on tour like Myles and Classified.

The federal government announced Thursday they would match, dollar-for-dollar, all donations made to the Red Cross for the people of Fort McMurray.
