WINNIPEG — After below normal temperatures, snow and wind, we are more than ready for some real spring-like weather in southern Manitoba.
The wait is over because by midweek we’ll reach double digits. But (and there is a but here) the snow we saw last week will likely be replaced by rain.
While the warmer air out west is finally spilling into southern Manitoba, we’ll still see precipitation off and on for the week.
Tuesday calls for a moderate chance of showers and we’ll also continue to see gusty winds reaching a high of 6 C which is still below the normal high of 9 C.
Showers and or rain will return Thursday and continue on into the start of the weekend as it sits now.
The good news is we are looking at a warmer second half of April – a far cry from how the month began.
