WINNIPEG — Hundreds of children were acting the fool at The Forks on Easter Sunday.
It was a busy day for the 16th annual Festival of Fools which started on Saturday and runs until Friday.
The free event brings all types of different performers to The Forks to give families something to do over the Spring Break.
“We’ve got nothing but positive responses. We keep adding things and adding more workshops, sometimes we’ll do trapeze workshops here, we’re doing circus workshops everyday. They seem to want more, more, more all the time, these families but we’re happy to do it, that’s our job,” said Neal Rempel, an organizer of the event.
The performers are at the The Forks each day until Friday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
