RCMP and hundreds of volunteers have scoured fields, bush and waterways around the home but haven’t found a trace of the toddler.
If Martens has not been found by 6 p.m. on Saturday, the young boy will have been missing for 96 hours.
Mounties have begun using drones in the search, which will continue as the search ramps up again on Saturday.
