DORVAL – Karen Nardella has had enough.
For seven years, on her way off the 211 bus’ Pine Beach stop to her Dorval home, she has to walk through a puddle that was inches-deep.
It may seem trivial, but she’s not alone.
Other commuters told Global News they’ve seen the water claim much more than just socks and shoes.
“People drop coffee and newspapers in it,” said Zoe Mathers.
Because of the early winter melt, the water is collecting next to a sheet of ice.
That’s a problem because there’s really only one way to and from the bus stop – and there are many senior citizens who take that route.
Wednesday, commuter after commuter struggled to negotiate how to cross the pool of water.
Following inquiries made by Global News, the AMT said it will look into the issue.
