Shephard was wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant in connection with what police called the “extremely violent” murder of Baylee Wylie.

Her lawyer asked for more time to review the case and she was remanded into custody until March 18.

Two others arrested

Stephen Nagle, the father of Shephard’s child, and Krystal Toole were also arrested Tuesday and appeared in court in Moncton.

Both are being charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
