Police later said they were searching for four masked men who kidnapped another man in the area of Kennedy Road and Matheson Boulevard.
On Saturday, a Mississauga man came forward on Facebook claiming to be the victim and painting chilling details of an alleged kidnapping.

“I was kidnapped by around 10 men … at gun point and taken for 15 hours,” Reza Mokhtarian wrote in a Facebook post on Saturday morning. “I have broken ribs, severe concussion, massive head trauma, busted lower extremeties and a lot more. But I will triumph over this.”

Mokhtarian, a self-described entrepreneur and day trader, blamed an unidentified rival company for the alleged ordeal.
“This was a setup from a Forex company similar to mine that did not want me to continue trading,” he claims.
Mokhtarian, who was to deliver a business talk at the Westmount Event Centre in Vaughan on Thursday night, claimed his kidnappers were trying to keep him quiet.
“I can tell you that they didn’t want me to make it to my event and it was serious,” he elaborated in a video posted on Periscope. “I did have to fight back… for my life,”.
“I had guns to my head, guns in my mouth, knives against me.”
Peel police say they are continuing to investigate the incident and have not confirmed whether Mokhtarian’s claims are true.
