UPDATE: Mounties say missing Saskatchewan woman located safe

Mounties in La Ronge, Sask. are asking the public for help in locating a missing woman. Santana Benjamin, 31, was reported missing to police early Wednesday morning.

She was last seen Tuesday evening hitchhiking north of Prince Albert at the junction of highways 2 and 355 getting into a black car that then headed north on Highway 2.

Benjamin’s family has not heard from her since then and are concerned for her well-being.

She is aboriginal, around five-foot four and 180 pounds. She was last known to be wearing dark jeans, black runners and a brown jacket.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Benjamin is asked to contact La Ronge RCMP at 306-425-6730 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
