Arrest made in violent Kelowna B&E

KELOWNA — When the incident occurred, Kelowna RCMP had blocked off the street with their cruisers and police tape.

Today, RCMP say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a violent break and enter.

The incident happened on December — Boxing Day — when two men barged into a Christleton Avenue home occupied by a man and woman.

The suspects were armed with a gun, but left when they heard sirens from a passing ambulance approaching. The residence is near Kelowna General.

The suspects fled in an SUV.

At the time, police say the suspects and victims knew each other.

RCMP say they’ve arrested two brothers from Alberta in connection with the attack.

They’ve been identified as Jarred Burrow, 34, and Parker Burrow, 24. Both are residents of Cochrane, AB and have been released pending their next court appearance.

The Burrows are facing several charges including possession of a loaded gun and assault causing bodily harm.
