Burnaby firefighters were kept busy this morning putting out a home fully engulfed by flames.
The fire broke out in the garage and spread to the house just after 7 a.m. Eight fire crews were on hand to battle the blaze in the 7500-block of Burgess Street.

Burgess Street and 16th are blocked for emergency crews and there are reports of smoke going over Canada Way, which is causing issues for commuters.
Fire crews were concerned the fire was going to move to a neighbouring home but the flames are now under control.
