Drunk man dropped pants at Barrie Tim Hortons: police

BARRIE, Ont. – A “highly intoxicated” man was charged with mischief and committing an indecent act after allegedly harassing customers and dropping his pants at a Tim Hortons Wednesday.

Barrie police were called to the Tim Hortons at 3 Sarjeant Street at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday to assist with an intoxicated man causing a disruption.

Witnesses told police the man was “approaching and hassling customers” and drank his coffee without paying for it.

Just before police arrived, the man allegedly jumped the counter and entered the kitchen area, where he dropped his pants and “made indecent gestures.”

Police arrested the man outside the store, but said he was too drunk to understand the charges. He was held in custody until sober.

He is now charged with mischief under $5,000 and committing an indecent act in a public place.
