Bill Aylwin lives across the street and said he was surprised to see the police presence.

“I’ve lived here five years and this is the first time I’ve seen yellow tape. Nothing’s ever happened around here. It’s mind-boggling to say the least,” he said.

Another neighbour, Alice Craig, first noticed the police tape on her way to church Sunday morning. She’s lived in the area for 50 years: “It bothers me in that respect, that it’s not a safe place any more in my opinion. But is there a safe place any more? That’s the thing.”
