REVELSTOKE – RCMP are hoping security camera images and witness interviews will lead to the arrest of a knife-wielding assailant in a gang brawl.
Police were called to the Victoria Road 7-Eleven just after 2:30 a.m. Friday where five men from Saskatchewan were attacked by about a dozen other adult males.
One of the Saskatchewan visitors was stabbed in the back while another suffered minor cuts to his face and hand.
RCMP say the hostilities are believed to have started outside the Traverse Nightclub, continued at the Lordco parking lot, then culminated at the convenience store.
The man with the knife is described as Caucasian, about 5’8″ tall, with short hair and a goatee.
He was wearing a grey, zipper hoodie and blue jeans.
The group from Saskatchewan is in the area for snowmobiling.
