SASKATOON – Two men were hospitalized Wednesday as a result of separate stabbings that took place Wednesday. Saskatoon police are investigating.
The first victim was reported at around 9 a.m. CT. Officers were at St. Paul’s Hospital on a separate matter, when a 25-year-old man came in suffering from several stab wounds.
Police said it was unknown where the assault took place and no suspects has been identified.

At around 5:15 p.m. CT, officers were called to a second stabbing at an alley in the area of 2nd Avenue North and 22nd Street East. A 22-year-old man was found in the downtown area suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect involved in the second incident is described as being Métis, with a husky build, five-foot nine and approximately 30 years of age. He was wearing a black jacket and black toque.
