Police are investigating a deadly crash that shut down a busy Vancouver intersection Saturday morning.
Investigators say a red Suzuki was making a left turn to go east on 41st Avenue when it was struck by a grey Audi travelling north on Oak Street.
The 68-year-old driver of the Suzuki was transported to hospital but did not survive.
The driver of the Audi suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say evidence indicates the speed of the northbound Audi was a factor in the crash.
Traffic is being diverted in all directions and police are asking motorists to avoid the area completely.
