City Hall comes alive with Halloween spirit

TORONTO – The spooky spirit of Halloween has taken over City Hall.

Mayor John Tory, clad in a SmartTrack conductor costume, kicked off celebrations by handing out Halloween treats to preschoolers from Hester How Daycare.

“SmartTrack is something that is very important to me and thought that if I could demonstrate this confidence in this project moving ahead – through my Halloween costume – that would be a further sign that I will make this thing happen,” Tory said.

“And I can teach these kids … You can never start too early to teach these kids about the importance of SmartTrack.”
