VERNON – A teenager charged in a north Okanagan murder case has been granted bail.
Brandon Wellington, 18, is charged with second degree murder in the slaying of 42-year-old Jason Hardy who was found dead in Vernon’s Polson Park in August.

Wellington was released from custody Monday and has been ordered to refrain from drugs and alcohol and not possess weapons.
He must also stay at his Enderby home except for school, work or emergencies.
Tal La Riviere, 28, and a 14-year-old boy are also accused of killing Hardy.
