A B.C. woman has received a reply to her letter to the prime minister-designate by the man himself.

Justin Trudeau shared a Facebook post written by Casandra Fletcher to him that has since gone viral, and posted a public reply.

Fletcher describes herself as “an average west coast, middle class mom voter.” And she admits that while she did vote Liberal, she did not vote for Trudeau. She voted “against the alternative,” and gave Trudeau a top 10 list of things she would be watching for.

WATCH: Cassandra Fletcher penned a letter with a top 10 list to Canada’s new prime minister-designate, which has now been shared tens of thousands of times. Here is her top 10 list for Justin Trudeau.

In his response, Trudeau says “Your honesty and frank words have resonated across the country, and I take them to heart.”

He then thanks Casandra for her vote, and encourages her to keep track of the Liberal Party’s promises on their website.
