Tory Cathy McLeod re-elected in Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo

Cathy McLeod was re-elected in Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo.

On a night when many Conservative incumbents in B.C. lost their seats, Tory MP Cathy McLeod was re-elected in the riding of Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo.

She earned 35.2 per cent of the vote, edging out NDP challenger Bill Sundhu, who had 30.8 per cent. Steve Powrie finished just behind Sundhu with 30.5 per cent of the vote.

In the last election, McLeod was re-elected by 15.3 per cent over NDP candidate Michael Crawford.
