WINNIPEG — If you’re out of town during the federal election but still want to vote, now is your chance to cast your ballot.
Advance polls are open Friday through Monday from noon to 8 p.m. throughout the city.
The information on where to go is on your Elections Canada voter registration card, which you should have already received in the mail.
If not, you can go to an Elections Canada office or go online.
Election day is Monday, Oct. 19.
Policial Analyst Royce Koop expects Advance polls will be busier than previous elections.
“This is a competitive election, people will want to vote in case they can’t on election day,” Koop said. “Last time I think people knew the Conservatives would take it, this time it might be different.”
