The northern lights lit up the sky across Canada Wednesday night.
The display was triggered by a high-speed solar wind. The sun’s particles interacted with our magnetic field triggering the gorgeous display of greens, reds and purples.
The lights were seen around the northern — and southern — parts of the globe.
There is a chance that we could see the northern lights again tonight, so keep an eye out.
