SASKATOON – Have we become too obsessed with selfies? A video making the rounds online features a group of teenage girls at a ball game, although they don’t seem at all interested in the play. The announcers spend several minutes making fun of the girls, who don’t look up at the game even once.

From selfie sticks to specially lit phone cases – it’s now easier than ever to snap a picture of yourself. Although your picture may get you a lot of likes on social media, there are times it’s not appropriate to take a self portrait. A new study shows more people have died this year from selfies than shark attacks.
