WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League have released goaltender David Leggio from his professional tryout agreement. He also attended camp with the Winnipeg Jets.

Leggio, 31, has played for six different AHL teams over eight professional seasons. Last season he split time between the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and the Portland Pirates.

The move leaves 31 players left in Moose camp including three other goalies, Connor Hellebuyck, Eric Comrie and Jussi Olkinuora.

The Moose will play their first exhibition game on Friday night against the Iowa Wild in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
