KELOWNA – A motorcycle trip Tuesday morning ended in an ambulance ride for a Kelowna man.
His bike was rear-ended by a van on KLO Road near Gordon Drive at about 8:30 a.m.

The van driver didn’t notice traffic was coming to a stop in front of him but he denied being distracted by texting when asked by a Mountie.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The other motorist was given a violation ticket by the RCMP.
