Chevron says some of its regular-grade gasoline was accidentally mixed into premium products at stations across British Columbia over the last three days.
“At a number of locations in the province, some regular-grade 87-octane gasoline was unintentionally blended into our premium products between September 8th and September 10th, 2015,” the company wrote in a press release issued late Thursday night.
They say premium products have been discontinued at the affected locations, and that they are working to fix the issue.
The company said they are “committed to resolving this issue.” Chevron has set up an information hotline for impacted customers. Customers can email cccweb@chevron.com or call 855-285-9595 for further information.
