PENTICTON — Penticton RCMP are investigating whether speed and alcohol were factors in a single vehicle crash that ended with a car wrapped around a power pole.
The incident happened around 11:30 Wednesday night on Carmi Avenue near Dartmouth Road.
Despite the severity of the crash, witnesses say the three male occupants appeared to have escaped injury.

“Upon my arrival, three teenagers where walking down towards the ambulance,” says Skylar Noe-Vak.
The impact snapped the power pole, forcing the closure of Carmi Avenue.
