The worst of the wind may be over, but here comes the rain.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound.
Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley areas are expected to see between 20 to 25 mm of rain on Monday, but it will be closer to 60 mm near the mountains.
Howe Sound is expected to receive up to 80 mm of rain.
While it will not be as windy as this past weekend, gusts could still get up to 50 km/hr at times.
This weather system is due to a cold front that has stalled across the South Coast. The rain will taper off this evening as the front moves to the east.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Residents are asked to watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
BC Hydro brought in crews from across the province to help restore outages that affected more than half-a-million customers at the height of the most destructive storm to hit the area in nearly a decade.
However, officials in Vancouver say it could take weeks for the clean-up to be completed.
