REGINA – The Regina Police Service is investigating an early morning shooting in the North Central neighbourhood that sent a woman to the hospital.
Police received a call around 3:45 a.m. Saturday for a weapons offence on Elphinstone Street near 6th Avenue. When officers arrived at the home, they found an woman suffering from what appeared to be a small caliber gunshot wound.
The woman was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
