TORONTO — Two Toronto men are facing charges after allegedly stealing meat from an Oshawa grocery store.

Durham Regional Police responded to the Real Canadian Superstore on Gibb Street in Oshawa at about 8:20 p.m. Monday, where two suspects had left the store after allegedly making off with a shopping cart full of meat.

Police said an employee followed one of the suspects out of the store and he left the meat behind and drove off in a U-Haul truck, while the second suspect took off on foot.
