WINNIPEG — The city and surrounding areas were under a severe thunderstorm watch until just after 9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Environment Canada placed Winnipeg under a severe thunderstorm watch just before 8 p.m. According to their warning, the system was capable of producing high winds, hail and heavy rain.
