One final push for departing Kelowna Rockets

The Kelowna Rockets are just two wins away from taking it all. Every game from here on out is do or die.

For a handful of departing players, it’s their last chance to bring home the Memorial Cup.

“You come in when you are 15 and you think, oh I’ve got five years, and you kind of take it for granted, and the next thing you know you’re 21,” says overager Tyrell Goulbourne.

This run will be the last for overagers Goulbourne, Cole Martin and Chance Braid. Josh Morrissey and Leon Draisaitl will also be moving on from the Rockets, and chances are with the impressive play of captain Madison Bowey, he won’t be back next year either.
