VERNON – RCMP have cordoned off a road in Vernon as officers investigate a possible crime scene.
Police were called Wednesday morning by a person reporting blood on Okanagan Landing Road in front of Ellison Elementary school.

RCMP spokesperson, Gord Molendyk, says an injured man showed up at the hospital at about 5:30 a.m. and they’re trying to determine if the blood is associated to that investigative file.
Traffic has been detoured in the area as police collect evidence but the school is open.
